Our Varieties
(these are *kid favorites)

*Sunflower Shoots - Possibly our most kid-friendly microgreen. They're a little like mini parachutes. "Meaty" texture, mild, creamy, nutty, and a source of complete protein. They have a nice crunch and are great for snacking, in a smoothie or salad, topping an entree, or try chopping and adding them to homemade granola bars!

*Pea Shoots - mild, classic pea flavor. Great for kids - we like calling them spaghetti with wings. Great raw with dip, add to your smoothie, or try them lightly sauteed with butter and garlic or in a stir fry.
*Crunchy Mix - pea, sunflower, and a little radish! Great for snacking and topping entrees and salads.

Broccoli - mild, earthy flavor that does not taste like broccoli! Excellent source of sulforaphane with its anti-cancer effect. Try it in a smoothie or topping an entree.
Arugula - very spicy like horseradish. Great for salads or topping an entree. The spiciness is less pronounced if you eat it with salad dressing (because of the oil).

Radish - spicy, but less than arugula. Wonderful green/purple color that provides contrast with a white dressing or sour cream.

Red Russian Kale - mild kale flavor with a slight sharpness. Green leaves with hint of pink in the stems. Another source of sulforaphane for anti-cancer support. Good as a topping or part of a salad.

Red Lace Mustard - beautiful speckled red/green leaves with only slight sharpness. Source of sulforaphane for anti-cancer support. Good as a topping or part of a salad.

Tat Soi Cabbage - also called Tat Soi Mustard. Mild with a slightly sharp aftertaste. Nice crunch eaten raw and it has a buttery-type mouthfeel when lightly sauteed. High in calcium and another sulforaphane source!
